It happens. Especially with edibles. You will not die. Here's the playbook:
- Find a calm space. Lay down. Lights low. Soft music or none.
- Hydrate. Cold water. Some sugar (juice, honey).
- Black peppercorns. Chew 2–3 whole peppercorns or smell freshly cracked pepper. The caryophyllene blunts THC. Sounds like folklore — there's actual mechanism.
- CBD. A 10–20mg CBD gummy or tincture counters acute THC anxiety. We carry pure CBD products specifically for this.
- Distract. Put on a familiar comfort show. Play a video game. Talk to a friend who's calm.
- Wait it out. Edible peak is 2–3 hours. Vape/smoke peak is 30 minutes. Time is the antidote.
- Sleep. If it's bad and it's evening, sleep through it. You'll wake up fine.
When to call 911
- Heart palpitations + chest pain that don't fade.
- Extreme vomiting (rare; if combined with other substances).
- Loss of consciousness.
These are extremely rare but real. If in doubt, call. Tell them what you took. You won't get in trouble — emergency services don't report.
