"Will THCa flower actually get me high?"
Yes. When heated (smoked or vaped), THCa converts to Delta-9 THC. The high is identical to "regular" weed.
"Is this legal in my state?"
Federal law: yes, if the product is ≤0.3% Delta-9 THC. State laws vary. We block restricted states at checkout — if you can complete checkout, your state hasn't banned it. You're responsible for knowing your local law for use, possession, and travel.
"Is this safer than alcohol?"
Different risk profile. No fatal overdose from cannabis alone (vs alcohol can kill at 0.4% BAC). Less liver damage, less cancer risk. But still impairing — don't drive, don't operate equipment, and adolescent / heavy use carries real cognitive risk.
"Will I fail a drug test?"
Almost certainly yes if you've used any THC product (Delta-9, Delta-8, Delta-10, HHC, THCa). Detection 3–30+ days. Don't use if your job tests.
"How long does it stay in my system?"
THC metabolites: 3 days (one-time) to 30+ days (daily). The drug actively affects you for 1–8 hours depending on method.
"What's the difference between hemp and marijuana?"
Same plant, different legal threshold. Hemp = ≤0.3% Delta-9 THC, federally legal. Marijuana = >0.3% Delta-9 THC, federally illegal. Once you smoke our THCa flower, the experience is the same.
"Is CBD the same as hemp?"
Hemp is the plant. CBD is one cannabinoid extracted from it. CBD is non-psychoactive; hemp can contain THCa, CBD, CBG, and many others.
"Can I drive after?"
No. Wait 4+ hours after smoking, 8+ after edibles. DUI laws apply.
"How much should I take?"
First time:
- Flower / vape: 1 puff, wait 15 minutes.
- Edible: 2.5–5mg, wait 2 full hours.
- Tincture: 5mg sublingual, wait 45 minutes.
"What if I take too much?"
You won't die. You'll be uncomfortable for 2–4 hours. Lay down, hydrate, CBD if you have it, black peppercorns help, distract yourself. Sleep it off if possible.
"Will it interact with my medications?"
Possibly. Especially blood thinners, sedatives, opioids, antiseizure meds. Ask your doctor before regular use.
"Is cannabis addictive?"
Cannabis use disorder exists in ~9% of users. Less severe than tobacco / alcohol / opioids, but real. Heavy daily use can produce withdrawal symptoms (irritability, sleep disturbance, appetite change, anxiety) for 1–2 weeks after stopping.
"Why does the COA say 0.2% Delta-9 THC but the flower is 25% THCa?"
THCa is the precursor; Delta-9 is the active form. Federal compliance is measured on Delta-9 only. Once heated, THCa converts to Delta-9 THC. The flower IS strong — the lab number isn't a marketing trick.
"Indica vs sativa — which is better?"
Neither. Indica = body, evening, sleep. Sativa = head, daytime, energy. Hybrids are most products. Pick by goal + by terpene profile. We list both.
"Does cannabis kill brain cells?"
No. The "kills brain cells" claim was based on a 1970s study with bad methodology. However: heavy adolescent use is associated with lower IQ scores in adulthood. Adult-onset moderate use shows no measurable IQ effect.
"Is it OK during pregnancy?"
No. Cannabinoids cross the placenta. Don't.
"Why is it so expensive?"
Quality cultivation + lab testing + compliance + retail margin. We're a premium dispensary — our flower is hand-trimmed, slow-cured, and tested twice (cultivator + ours). Cheaper exists; cleaner doesn't.
